🌱☀️  This is an invitation to begin an intentional relationship with the natural world ☀️ 🌱

for your mutual flourishing

we live in a fast world, this is an invitation to slow down

We're so familiar with what it takes to go faster… pushing for more, steeling ourselves against the things that take time, resistance to letting up on the pressure for fear of collapse.

This invitation includes guidance to recapture your own attention, curiosity, and playfulness. The tiny granular tasks each day offer reclamation and remembering of what it means to move slowly.

And with nature as our focus, we also restore our relationship with the natural world and all of her inhabitants. We reclaim our place within that world, and reconnect to its wonder.

why do this work?

Because we're building a culture of care, love, and belonging to the natural world

01

Remembering that we are part of nature offers us a sense of inherent belonging

02

We are recentering our lives around well-being and care instead of urgency and productivity

03

As we reconnect to our local kin (including/especially with the more-than-human-world) through reciprocity we rebuild the relationships that underlie an earth honoring culture

04

The natural world is structured around life-giving process, and so reflects back to us what is needed to restore and reconnect

Jill Clifton

The natural world held me when I most needed healing and didn't know what to ask for. I was working on islands in the Pacific, often for extended periods with only 1-3 other people. In that solitude I could finally hear my own inner voice, and it deeply change me. Over the years I have returned to the forest, the river, the ocean, and the mountains to reclaim myself.

With a bachelor's degree in Sociology and a Master's degree in Ocean Science, I've spent a lifetime exploring the relationship between humanity and Mother Nature.
